Patricia Bermingham

I am an independent licensed mental health counselor, who has been working in the health care environment since 1992 as a registered nurse. My nursing experience includes hospice care, pediatrics, oncology and child and adolescent behavioral health. My experience as a behavioral health clinician and as a nurse allow me to deliver comprehensive quality integrative care. I'm comfortable working with behavioral health needs throughout the lifespan.
I excel at providing trauma informed care, with a focus on overall health and wellness, and their impact on behavioral health management. I’ve worked with alternative forms of schooling and a diverse clientele, and I value a compassionate and inclusive therapeutic experience.

My ideal client is open to exploring alternative perspectives and new approaches to enhancing their sense of wellness.
Each individual has a story of their own to tell and I enjoy helping individuals consider options for what their next chapter may look like. l invite clients to explore their own personal value system and help them develop their unique goals from there.
My years of experience as an RN have included caring for individuals and working with families in all stages of life, from pediatrics to hospice. I recognize that each person's life experiences help shape their approaches to their own physical and mental health and I welcome the opportunity to walk that journey with them.
We all have lived complex lives, including myself, and an understanding of this has helped me develop a commitment to non-judgmental and compassionate care.
